- I was raised in the South and fell in love with a soldier while in Raleigh, NC at Meridith College. I moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where I led a busy, fulfilling life raising my 3 children. I was one of the lucky ones who had a wonderful husband and I truly enjoyed being with my family.
